“So what will a typical day involve?” we hear you ask….
 
A typical shift will be between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, so your weekends are all yours! How’s that for work life balance?
 
You’ll spend your day speaking with external mortgage brokers, either on the phone, via email or web chat, supporting them with ongoing mortgage applications and ensuring a seamless service - making it really easy for them to do business with you and putting them at the heart of everything you do. As you’ll be speaking with mortgage brokers, you’ll have to be really knowledgeable about your products and be able to handle difficult conversations. Sometimes their queries will be super urgent, so you’ll need to be very quick thinking, able to overcome problems and be able to handle requests within a fast paced, mortgage sales environment.
 
You’ll work with your team of nine colleagues, as well as the wider mortgage business development managers to ensure both business sales and regulatory compliance targets are met. You’ll get plenty of support from your team leader and attend regular coaching and training sessions to ensure you are the best you can possibly be.
 
The company places huge emphasis on great customer service, so any ideas and ways you can think of to improve the broker experience will always be listened to. Your input as a customer service advisor at the front end of the customer experience will be invaluable to the wider business and it’s great to know that you are part of one big team who really cares about their customers, colleagues and wider community.
