This is a fab opportunity for anyone who has previously worked as part of a fraud prevention team or been exposed to fraud prevention within an underwriter / collections environment.

Position: Fraud Prevention Officer
Location: Cardiff
Salary: up to £27,000 pa depending on experience
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm + Saturdays 9am to 6pm & Sundays 9am to 5pm on a rota basis (you will work every other weekend, with days off in the week)

As a Fraud Prevention Officer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Working closely with the wider business, you will execute fraud prevention strategies in line with company policy
- You will investigate and report cases of suspected or confirmed fraud
- You will take action to mitigate any risk identified, in accordance with the company’s fraud prevention strategy
- You will investigate allegations of fraud raised post application, take timely action to protect any victims of fraud identified.
For your application to be successful for this Fraud Prevention Officer role for a Financial Services company in Cardiff, your CV should demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Background in a highly regulated financial services environment (ESSENTIAL)
- Previous experience within a Fraud Prevention Officer, Underwriter or Collections Advisor role and / or a role where you have been involved in recognising potential risk of fraud at an application level
- Working knowledge of CIFAS and/or SIRA
- Background in recognising application / banking / finance fraud and what is involved in carrying out fraud prevention measures
